We are a multi-national team of experienced travelers and pilgrims, united by our shared passion for spiritual journeys and profound experiences. With over 15 years in the business, we have had the privilege of organizing more than 200,000 pilgrimages to the sacred site of Mount Athos. Our extensive experience ensures that each pilgrimage is meticulously planned and thoughtfully executed, providing an immersive and enriching journey.

Suzy Chang
Co-Owner & Chief Marketing Officer
Suzy is an Air Force Veteran who brings her passion for connecting people to transformative experiences.
Growing up as a missionary, she traveled the world, gaining a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and spiritual journeys. She now oversees all sales and marketing efforts, driving the company’s vision and growth.
When she’s not immersed in business, Suzy loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and their poodle. You might also find her cruising around on her single-speed bike.
Suzy is dedicated to ensuring every pilgrim has a seamless and enriching journey from start to finish
David Kabbe
Co-Owner & Chief Experience Officer
David is not just the heart of the Athos Journey experience—he’s a passionate storyteller, film producer, and director with a love for social impact stories.
Having grown up as a missionary and traveled the world extensively, David brings a global perspective to everything he does.
He manages sales, outreach, and partner development, and occasionally joins the tours to ensure every detail is perfect.
When he’s not crafting unforgettable journeys, you’ll find David exploring new cultures and sharing stories that inspire change.
Nickole Lanham
Director of Partnerships & Client Relations
Nickole is a powerhouse both in and out of the office. She brings a wealth of experience from the world of higher education, where she honed her skills in building meaningful relationships and fostering community engagement.
Now at Athos Journey, she uses that expertise to develop strategic partnerships that expand our reach.
Outside of work, Nickole is a fitness enthusiast and certified instructor who loves Hyrox competitions. When she’s not building partnerships, she’s spending time with her husband and two daughters, or leading a fitness class.
Nickole’s passion for wellness and education fuels her dedication to bringing transformative pilgrimages worldwide.
